About eight weeks ago (was it really only that long? It seems like a year, at least) I was told a lie.
The intentions of this lie were good, and I'm not upset at the liar in any way. Maybe to her, these words were truth. She was trying to help me in sharing a piece of her truth with me. I guess it just goes to show that the truth is just the eye of the beholder.
The first week will be the worst. After that, you'll hardly hurt at all. Waiting will be easy.

I have to say I disagree with that. Every single day is just as hard as the last one, if not more. It'll never be easy.
